Yes! my mom knows people from around the world – from Singapore to USA and even in UK – she has friends who are raleigh lawyers and not forgetting those in Australia too.  If anyone needs anything from anywhere from around the world – my mom can make the connection for you.  Some of these friends, my mom already know for a long time – others they are online friends from blogging.  But mostly – they are friends when she worked in Singapore – and had known for a long time.

But since coming to Canada – mama met a lot of friends thru’ blogging especially for business – so that she can chat with other business owners and suppliers from overseas to see if we can find suppliers elsewhere.  So if you need any connections from lawyers to suppliers or buying a house – you can count of my mom to help you source out the right people for you.

I love playing Batman Lego – but like everything else – daddy and mama don’t buy anything too expensive for me – and this game was only $5 from a yardsale.  Daddy and mama said that there is no need to have everything I want immediately – and that all good things come to those who waits.  I cannot be like other kids – I have to be a responsible one – and learn to appreciate money and the value of things.   I may not know all about money – but mama said that money isn’t everything – the most important thing in life is honesty and being happy with what we have.

Mama always say I’m the boss of the store – so i help out whenever I can – and I loved to decorate the store – especially during Christmas.  Christmas is my favorite season because my birthday is round Christmas and I get lots of presents from the customers and family.  Do you like what i did with Gary for the store?

My daddy always say – it was quite strange how he started his business – our store – well – my daddy’s store to be exact.  With no credit to the bank – my daddy started small with a business partner.  And even though they can get any help from the bank – daddy’s business partner – probably got a bad credit small business loans for his share of the business – else he won’t have gotten any money whatsoever.   Even though the partner wasn’t good with money, he was very brave – and gung-ho about having his own business.  Had it not been him – my daddy wouldn’t have owned a store.  But half a year after they opened the store – daddy bought out his partner – because he wanted to do something else.   Daddy is grateful for his partner’s contribution towards opening the store – and if the partner can open a business – so can anyone else.  All you need is the right small business loans – and you can start anew – and make something out of yourself.

Happy Halloween everyone!  while other kids have a few costumes for Halloween and lots of treats – my Halloween costume was bought when it went on sale at Superstore at 40% discount.  And Halloween treats for my class is made by my Grammie and I helped decorate the cookies on the weekend when I spent time with Grammie and Grampie.   My mama and daddy do not believe in spending a lot of money for frivolous things  – because they are saving up for college for me.  Mama said that she doesn’t believed in me going in debt even before I can earn money – so they started saving for me as soon as I was born.   Mama said I have to be grateful for what I have and not ask for more than I need – that’s because a lot of people out there don’t have anything – even with food – they don’t want me to waste any food – because a lot of people out there got no food.

Mama said that even though we own our own business – we don’t owe the suppliers anything – we pay when the bills comes immediately  – because going into debt is not a good thing.  Some people go into debt because they have no choice – but some people go into debt because they don’t spend their money wisely – so mama said I have to learn to save money and spend wisely.  Even though we are comfortable in life – it doesn’t mean that we can splurge and be spendthrift.  Saving money and spending wisely are good virtues mama said.

When we were in Halifax, we went to a toy store that daddy likes and there was a paper robot that i liked. I had fun in the store – while daddy looked at stuff he liked.

These are some of the toys that I liked – but we didn’t buy any because mama said i was too young.  We try to do something for everyone when we are up in the city – toy store and clothing store for me, food for mummy and daddy’s toy store as well.

Today was the last day of summer camp – and we had a party in the evening – and I was supposed to go up the stage and say thank you to all my leaders/councilors for taking care of me during the summer – and then to give them a gift certificate to eat lunch at Rudder’s.  But when I went up to the stage – I froze up and didn’t say a thing except thank you.  Even with mama on the stage with me – i refused to say anything – I was terrified big time and was sweating a little bit.  But the leaders were grateful for the gift certificate and came to thank mama for it.  I asked mama why we have to give gift certificate while no one else does – and mama said it’s a nice thing to do for the people who took care of me – the entire summer – and gave me so much fun.
