Some of my cousins lived in the United States and every year during Valentine’s Day, they would send me a basket of cookies.  So this year, mummy and I are sending them some shari’s berries because they are chocolate covered strawberries that both kids and adults loved.  During the summer, we always visit my cousins in the New York and they come and visit me sometimes too – and mama and my aunt always keep in touch via Facebook and emails – mama said that we have to remember our relatives from afar and keep in touch and what better way than to send them a basket of fruits or cookies.   You can also send pop cakes that I loved so much and the Velvet cake with cream cheese on top – very yummy!

Lately, mama had been packing up food for my teacher to try because my friend in school said that my food is P.U. again – so I didn’t eat my lunch when my classmates tells me that.  I feel hurt and ashamed that my food is P.U. to them – and I don’t want to tell my teacher about it when it happens.  So mama packed a small tupperware of food for my teacher to try in front of the class in hope that my classmates sees that it’s not P.U. to my teacher – so they won’t say P.U. to me about my food.  My teacher like my mama’s food and she finishes them – if my classmates don’t want to try them – so now no one says my food is P.U.

We went specially to Wallace Apple Farm at South Ohio to get some pears for my classmates and teachers.  Mama likes to do this when the apples and pears are available – because she said eating fruits is always good.  At the apple farm – we can get very good pears and apples – and they are not so expensive like getting them from Superstore or Sobeys.

Every week – my mama would pack a basket of apples or pears for my class & teachers – I love my mama very much – she is very kind to all my friends.

I’m trying out smoothie at the Farmer’s market – guess what’s in it?  it’s banana, strawberry and orange.  Yummy!  i drank it all!  I normally don’t get to drink smoothies unless they don’t have any sugar added into it – mama don’t like me drinking any sugar.  But the smoothie at the Farmer’s market is made of organic fruits and they were really expensive.  The cups were biodegradable and can be recycled according to the lady.

I don’t try many new food – but mama asked me to try her ovaltine cookie from home. It tasted alright – nothing special – but I won’t be eating it anytime soon.

Mama had been trying to get me to eat fish balls for the longest time – these are chinese fish balls made out of fish.  Mama said all chinese children eats fish balls – so here I am eating Chinese fish balls for the first time.  I kinda like it but not too much.

See the garlic bread?  my mama loves to eat them – the more garlic spread the better and of course they have to be toasted and crusty.  Mama loves to eat her oily stuff – even her mee saim and laksa are quite oily as well.  But don’t you worry – because mama can take the real  hoodia diet pills , she heard that if she really want to lose some weight – she can use the ones that is from Africa and was recommended some good diet pills too.   As you can see – mama loves good food and she have a food blog to prove it – therefore, she definitely need to either need to exercise a lot or she needs some very strong diet pills – or she is going to be obese.

Love my ice cream?  so does mama – this french vanilla ice cream was so good – mama had to try some – and after trying it – she ate someone.  Mama said good thing she started exercising and maybe she can even try on some  new diet pills to see if it would help bring down more weight because of her indulgence.  But I’ve also started helping mama lose weight by asking her to play ball with me – or play tag.  I always tell her to “come catch me!” and she does ! she would pretend she is a zombie and run after me and my friends – and i’m sure that helps to burn some fats and lose some weight too right?  Mama wants to eat healthy too – but once in a while – it’s ok to share some ice cream with me right?

My mommy loves spicy food – look at the bowl of noodles and you can see how much chilli there was in this bowl of noodles called laksa from mama’s hometown.  Mama needs to eat chilli with everything – even her wanton soup from Mr Zhu’s.  Mr Zhu’s staff always remembers to give mama a little container of chilli with everything she orders – no wonder mama sometimes have an explosion of acne and pimples.  Mama said it’s a good thing that I don’t like spicy stuff – I said no way – else I’ll have to get the  best acne treatment for my face – and I want to be a princess remember?  I can’t afford to have acne or pimples – I need flawless skin.  Mama laughed and said that sometimes people who don’t eat spicy food also can get pimples and acne – so it’s important to clean our face properly.  So from now onwards – mama shouldn’t eat too much spicy food – which she said she can’t – so she better get some really good acne cream.

We had dinner with Mama’s friends at the Zhu’s – meaning Jessica’s parents.  Mama and her friends had the buffet while I had a very small plate of noodles.  Mama had to bring a long some chicken, mushrooms and corn from home – and put it in the noodles for me – for i wouldn’t eat meat from anywhere – except fish and chips. I didn’t finish my noodles – because I wanted to go play downstairs with Jessica and Jasmine.  So I quickly eat what I can – and went down to the basement to play – while mama and her friends continue to eat.

This is Jasmine’s mama – Kim.  Jasmine is only 4 yrs old – but she is very smart – and she never cries even if she does fall down or hurt herself.  Mama said she wished I was as tough as Jasmine.

And this is shiny Josh’s mother – but shiny Josh isn’t here today – because he is in Newfoundland with his father.  He is still not home from Christmas yet.   Mama had a good dinner – which lasted for 2hrs – and we didn’t want to go home – we wanted to play some more.  Mrs Zhu didn’t charge us for dinner – the kids I mean – and for the rest they gave us a 20% discount – it was very nice of them.  Luckily the restaurant was not so busy – therefore mama and her friends took time to chat and relax.
