It’s Jasmine’s 5th birthday party at Macdonald’s and i was invited.  I had been looking forward to this because I liked Jasmine very much and we play along pretty well but I’m still a little bossy even though mama told me to behave myself.  I had a lot of fun with Jasmine and her friends during her birthday party and I had french fries and milk.  Mama had my nuggets and caught up with Aunty Kim and some of her friends at Macdonald’s.  And papa came to pick us up late at about 3.50pm because he thought mama was supposed to call him but mama thought he was gonna pick us up at 3.30pm.   Happy birthday Jasmine – I hope you like your chum buddy frog and go buy something with the “ang pow” mama gave you.  Or be like me – save it up for college.

PS:  Mama said she wished I was more gung-ho like Jasmine – who never whine or fear anything – she will be the go-getter girl when she grows up.

A birthday present from Jasmine and her mommy Kim !  I loved the 2 doggies – thank you very much !  I loved the bag too!   I feel so blessed that Jasmine’s mommy always remembers my birthday!

Yes! my mom knows people from around the world – from Singapore to USA and even in UK – she has friends who are raleigh lawyers and not forgetting those in Australia too.  If anyone needs anything from anywhere from around the world – my mom can make the connection for you.  Some of these friends, my mom already know for a long time – others they are online friends from blogging.  But mostly – they are friends when she worked in Singapore – and had known for a long time.

But since coming to Canada – mama met a lot of friends thru’ blogging especially for business – so that she can chat with other business owners and suppliers from overseas to see if we can find suppliers elsewhere.  So if you need any connections from lawyers to suppliers or buying a house – you can count of my mom to help you source out the right people for you.

Thank you Jen Jei Jei from Toronto – for your gifts – I love them all.  This one is very special because mama said this is your wedding gift – a party favor.  Thank you for thinking of me – and also the necklace – but I can’t wear it because I’m allergic to certain kind of metal.

I love this though – these are awfully cute!  I have them in my school bag now.

And I love this lychee jello – especially the hard thing that is inside.  I ate like 3 of them already.  Mama don’t let me eat too much a day.  Thank you very much Jen Jie Jie – you are so kind – mama said you will have a very handsome and healthy baby boy soon.

A few weeks ago – we were up in the city – to meet up with mama’s ex-boss who came from England to Canada – they were interviewing for some positions for an office here in Canada.   They were looking for Network Engineers – so mama had agreed to go help them with the interview process since her ex-boss had been so good to her when she was in Australia working with him.  Network Engineer Jobs are specific positions that are meant for specific people and mama said that the process of hiring some people to fill this jobs takes about 3 interviews.   Mama is helping her ex-boss with the initial selection – and since she cannot go up to the city without me and daddy – we all went with her to the city.

While mama works and play catch up with her ex-boss, me and daddy went to places like the science center – the park, and of course visiting shopping centers. In the evenings, mama met up with daddy and I and we go dinner or sit at the hotel’s lounge and go swimming in the hotel.  We stayed at the Westin and I do like the hotel because it’s huge – bigger than the Sheraton Four Points.  Mama thought she was going to Toronto but her ex-boss decided to have the interview in the city instead – so the candidates were flew out to Halifax instead – else mama could visit Auntie Jen in Toronto.  Anyhow, the interview went well – we stayed for 3 days – and would have stayed longer had I not gotten sick.  But it was overall a good trip for us.

Today I received a postcard from Newfoundland – from my best friend Shiny Josh !  I was very excited and mama said I should read the postcard on my own.  Shiny Josh wrote everything by himself – I was impressed – I thought his mom wrote the card for him – but mama said nope – Josh wrote it.

There are lots of icebergs in Newfoundland according to Papa and Shiny Josh’s mother – one day – we will go visit Newfoundland with Shiny Josh and his family.  Thank you, Shiny Josh !  see yer soon!

I spent a day out with one of my best friend – shiny Josh and his mother and then we went out for supper at Peg’s Family restaurant – also my favorite restaurant.  While I had fun with shiny Josh, mama and Lynette (josh’s mummy) talked about single premium immediate annuity .  I don’t know much about it – but mama and lynette wants to invest their money for the future – so Josh and I played together – so that mama and Lynette can look into more information on it.

Josh and I had so much fun – and mama and Lynette talked the whole night about this single premium immediate annuity.  Mama said that it’s good for people like grammie and grampie – to use their savings to invest for higher returns.  But I guess anyone with savings can invest in this annuity.  I asked mama if I can invest also since I have savings – mama laughed and said that it’s for older people – so that they can secure their retirement – when they don’t work no more.
