Safety First At School

I love school very much – and I love all my teachers as well and the reason why I love school now is because I feel safe at school with my teachers and friends. At school, my teachers teaches me all about safety first – they even have medical step stool in all our classroom and the library just in case we need to reach for something that is too tall and too high.School is a safe place to be and in school – they teach us how to keep ourselves safe – not to talk to strangers and not to climb on high stuff unless you have a step stool. We have a step stool at home too but not as fancy as the ones in school.

Home Sick

Stayed home today from school because I am sick – with a sore throat and a cold – no fever – but I wanted to stay home with mama and didn’t even go to the store. Mama played with me – watched movies with me and also read with me the whole day. I didn’t give mama much sleep last night because I woke up at 6am – and woke her up another 3 times before daddy woke up with me at 8.45am. Mama said I should feel better by tomorrow. I didn’t go to karate class yesterday and missed my after school program for the last day – and also missed PJ day at school – what a bummer! guess I’m gonna missed Pantanra’s birthday at the YMCA tomorrow too

No More After School Program For Now

I won’t be attending the after school program for now – till it gets warmer because mama didn’t like that I was playing out in the cold for so long. I came home with all my clothes wet – even socks – and mama said this year the after school program seems to put us out alot more than last year in the cold. So because mama doesn’t want me to get sick – since I have asthma and all – she wrote to the co-ordinator of the after school program – and told her about it. But once the weather gets warmer – I can go back to the after school program to play with my friends.

STolen Hat Found After 7 Months

My home room teacher found a hat last week on Friday and I didn’t know for sure if it was my hat that was stolen 7 months ago from school. So mama and daddy went to school this morning and this is my hat from Sparky Jones – woohoo!!! Yes ! this is my hat – but it had been 7 months and of course I don’t remember no more – I’m just a kid!

At first mama thought it was really misplaced – but daddy said it’s impossible because the janitor would have found it right? and how did my hat go from one end to another without anyone noticing? strange as it is – I did get my hat back – but daddy still don’t believed that it was misplaced – but mama said nevermind lah! as long as it is found – I just have to be careful with my things at school and anywhere else.

Concert In School

I was in the concert for our school and mummy, daddy, grammie and grampie came for my concert. We have been practicing for the concert for a long time now – and I remembered all the words for the songs. I even corrected my friends who sang wrongly – and daddy said – I shouldn’t correct my friends because it might hurt their feelings. After the concert, we walked back to school and daddy and mummy was there to pick me up after school.

I Cut My Principal’s Hair

Yes! I sure did!! and that’s because I raised the most money for the school – thanks to Auntie Kai Mah and all the awesome aunties and uncles who donated so much money to the school. The customers at the store also donated half of what I collected but the aunties and uncles are the ones who donated a lot of money. Thank you very much again ! I had so much fun today!

Santa’s Gift Shoppe

Every year my school will set up a Santa’s gift shoppe for students to buy a gift for their parents. We are to bring $2 for 2 gifts – and we can go choose those gifts in the morning – and they will be wrapped up by teachers and parents who are volunteering for the workshop. Mama wants to volunteer this year – but I asked her not to because I want my gifts to be a surprised. Too bad they don’t have welding supplies at the Santa’s gift shoppe because I know that Grampie and Uncle Richard could use some of these welding supplies as they are always doing some welding outdoors. Uncle Richard has a pair of goggle eye glass that he puts on when he is welding to protect his eyes – and he wears thick gloves too when he is welding. Mama said she will bring me shopping for welding stuff for Grampie and Uncle Richard this weekend – I can’t wait for the weekend to come.

Halloween Cookies Made By Me & Grammie

I made Halloween cookies with Grammie last week and then I packed it up in Halloween goodie bags and gave them to my friends at school. Mama said we should give candies because everyone would already have lots of candies on Halloween – so mama said to make cookies with grammie would be ideal. Firstly, I can spend quality time with Grammie and secondly, it would be something I baked for my friends. I had a good Halloween – and I had 2 bags of candies and another bag of present from Sarah’s mama – they are too kind to me – mama said she is grateful for such a good friend.

Food For My Teacher

Lately, mama had been packing up food for my teacher to try because my friend in school said that my food is P.U. again – so I didn’t eat my lunch when my classmates tells me that. I feel hurt and ashamed that my food is P.U. to them – and I don’t want to tell my teacher about it when it happens. So mama packed a small tupperware of food for my teacher to try in front of the class in hope that my classmates sees that it’s not P.U. to my teacher – so they won’t say P.U. to me about my food. My teacher like my mama’s food and she finishes them – if my classmates don’t want to try them – so now no one says my food is P.U.

Pears For My Classmates & Teachers

We went specially to Wallace Apple Farm at South Ohio to get some pears for my classmates and teachers. Mama likes to do this when the apples and pears are available – because she said eating fruits is always good. At the apple farm – we can get very good pears and apples – and they are not so expensive like getting them from Superstore or Sobeys.

Every week – my mama would pack a basket of apples or pears for my class & teachers – I love my mama very much – she is very kind to all my friends.
