Diamonds For Mummy

Daddy and I went shopping at the mall on Sunday to find mama a Valentine’s Day gift – we know exactly what my mama would like for Valentine’s. Not just anything, or plates or pots or makeup or perfume – my mama is into diamond solitaire rings and it has to be the real thing else you better not buy them for her – she won’t wear it. We love all the shiny looking stones and am looking for one that daddy can afford but they are real pretty that’s for sure. Daddy said that he could probably afford one this year – since mama had been good – hahahah! So we have to find out mama ring size and then go back to the mall and choose one for her – but it doesn’t have to be a fancy diamond – like the lazare diamonds that mama has from Singapore – but a modest one is good enough.

Safety First At School

I love school very much – and I love all my teachers as well and the reason why I love school now is because I feel safe at school with my teachers and friends. At school, my teachers teaches me all about safety first – they even have medical step stool in all our classroom and the library just in case we need to reach for something that is too tall and too high.School is a safe place to be and in school – they teach us how to keep ourselves safe – not to talk to strangers and not to climb on high stuff unless you have a step stool. We have a step stool at home too but not as fancy as the ones in school.

Computers In The Study Room

We have 3 computers in our study room but our computer room is very small – so daddy thought about buying the mobile computer workstations that we saw at the Doctor’s office. How does the workstation looked like? well, it’s like a cupboard and can be closed up and hidden when you are not using your laptops. It’s really very neat and keeps our study room tidy and gives me more space to play when I am not using the workstation.

Daddy said it’s great for people who don’t have much space in a room, just like the doctor’s consulting office – and I won’t have space to clutter the computer table no more. Daddy said he doesn’t think that they are very expensive to buy, so we will go shopping for a mobile computer workstation soon – not just one but 3 actually.

Valentine Gifts For Cousins In USA

Some of my cousins lived in the United States and every year during Valentine’s Day, they would send me a basket of cookies. So this year, mummy and I are sending them some shari’s berries because they are chocolate covered strawberries that both kids and adults loved. During the summer, we always visit my cousins in the New York and they come and visit me sometimes too – and mama and my aunt always keep in touch via Facebook and emails – mama said that we have to remember our relatives from afar and keep in touch and what better way than to send them a basket of fruits or cookies. You can also send pop cakes that I loved so much and the Velvet cake with cream cheese on top – very yummy!

Watching Netflix On A Netbook

I get bored easily – so when I’m at a restaurant waiting for my food – I play with my DS or do coloring or do some puzzles but daddy said that if he get some cheap netbooks in the near future – he will save one for me. Then I can watch Netflix on the netbook and maybe that would keep me happy while I am in the restaurant. So that mummy and daddy can have a good meal without having to entertainment me all the time. But mama said Netbooks are expensive – so I have to save up some money or wait for it to go on sale and then she can buy them and not feel like she spend too much money.

Christmas Present For A Cousin

Daddy said we are getting a special Christmas present for my cousin Peggy – and I got all excited about it – until he told me he was getting a alcohol detox for cousin Peggy. I asked daddy why? and daddy said Cousin peggy loves to drink during the festive season, so this year – he would prefer to give her a useful gift to help her get rid of some really nasty toxins in her body. Luckily, daddy and mummy don’t drink – else I just might have to get them a alcohol detox for a gift when I’m older. Daddy said alcohol detox is great for people who needs help with their drinking habits – and I guess there must be a lot of people who loved to drink during the holidays – so should everyone give their loved ones a alcohol detox too? I wonder how many people get a gift for alcohol detox during Christmas.

Santa’s Gift Shoppe

Every year my school will set up a Santa’s gift shoppe for students to buy a gift for their parents. We are to bring $2 for 2 gifts – and we can go choose those gifts in the morning – and they will be wrapped up by teachers and parents who are volunteering for the workshop. Mama wants to volunteer this year – but I asked her not to because I want my gifts to be a surprised. Too bad they don’t have welding supplies at the Santa’s gift shoppe because I know that Grampie and Uncle Richard could use some of these welding supplies as they are always doing some welding outdoors. Uncle Richard has a pair of goggle eye glass that he puts on when he is welding to protect his eyes – and he wears thick gloves too when he is welding. Mama said she will bring me shopping for welding stuff for Grampie and Uncle Richard this weekend – I can’t wait for the weekend to come.

Mom Knows People Around The World

Yes! my mom knows people from around the world – from Singapore to USA and even in UK – she has friends who are raleigh lawyers and not forgetting those in Australia too. If anyone needs anything from anywhere from around the world – my mom can make the connection for you. Some of these friends, my mom already know for a long time – others they are online friends from blogging. But mostly – they are friends when she worked in Singapore – and had known for a long time.

But since coming to Canada – mama met a lot of friends thru’ blogging especially for business – so that she can chat with other business owners and suppliers from overseas to see if we can find suppliers elsewhere. So if you need any connections from lawyers to suppliers or buying a house – you can count of my mom to help you source out the right people for you.

What Mummy Wants For Christmas

Grammie asked mummy what she wants for Christmas – mummy said “nothing!” but I know she would love to have the new and modern bedroom furniture that she looks at all the time from bedroom furniture los angeles . Yes! it’s an online website for furniture and they have some really nice furniture that mummy wants. Mummy likes the California King Bed and the night stand as well, they also have kid’s furniture – and I like the pink color fantasia bed for kids and they are only less than $200. Maybe, I can ask grammie for the bed for Christmas instead. I’ll check with Grammie and ask her to go online to Los Angeles furniture – then grammie can use her credit card and buy the pink bed for me.

I like the bed because it’s pink and it’s not as high as the one I have now – and the frame is cushiony – so when I roll around the bed – I don’t have to worry about bumping my head on the bed frame.

Caroling At The Hospital

This year for Christmas – I’m going caroling at the local hospital – and it’s all because mama said it’s a good and nice thing to do during the holidays – to bring some cheer to the sick and to the children who are stuck in the hospital because they are sick. The hospital will be decorated and everyone will be having hot chocolate at the end of the songs that we are planning to sing. The nurse uniform are different too – during Christmas time – and they are all wearing very pretty pink and colorful scrubs. I like the scrubs that they are wearing – they don’t look like nurses – they look like people who are in the hospital playing with the children there. It’s not so frightening to visit the hospital when you see the nurses and doctor dress up in fun type of uniforms. What about you ? are you caroling t his year in the hospitals?
