Monster Brat

I just came back from Grammie’s and i’m down with a cold – luckily we have a heated blanket that way – we don’t have to turn up the heat in the house.  Mama said it’s still summer and to turn up the heat now – it would be a waste – we have to save on our power bills.  Electric blankets are good and they are not expensive to heat up at all and it does keep me warm – but not the entire room.  Mama said i’m a big girl now and can keep my blankie on myself – and if i wake up in the middle of the night and the blankie is on the floor – i can blankie myself again.  Electric blankie are safe for kids too!  i use them !

No camp for me today – because they all went to Ellenwood Park and i didn’t wanna go – i stayed at the store instead and started on my homework for school.  I wrote the numbers from 1 – 100 for mama and did some addition and subtraction and then i did some new words as well.   I didn’t wanna go to Ellenwood Park because I didn’t wanna be so far away from the store – if i had gone – i would be away from mama and daddy for the whole day.  So nope i stayed.

Here’s me at the closing down store for one last time – this is the movie store that is closing down in a few days.  We went by to see if there is anymore things that papa wants to buy before they close down.  I asked papa why they are closing down and papa said because we outlived them and we are the only store renting now – except for a few convenience stores around town.

Jessica came by to visit today and we ended up doing puzzles together while waiting for her mama to bring us our food.  I wasn’t too happy to share – mama had to keep asking me to share my puzzles – but jessica was very good – she didn’t make a big fuss.  Mama said i really have to learn how to share – else i won’t have any play dates.

This is our customer’s doggie – Chyna – isn’t she cute! mama said she looks like Kai Mah’s dogs in Singapore.  I don’t dare to pat Chyna but maybe – when we get to know each other better – i can bring her out for a walk.  So cuteee she is…!!  Our customer would bring her for a walk – and then come by our store to rent a movie.  So i’m hoping we get to see Chyna more.

Guess what i’m watching?  yes! little house on the prairie season 1 !!  mama said she watched this tv show when she was a kid.  Therefore, this is a good show for me to watch – so no Dora’s and Hannah Montana for now – I’m going to have all the seasons to watch and that’s a lot of show.  So far I really like what I’m seeing.  I like Mr Ingalls and Laura Ingalls.

We got some of our bread from home and went feeding the ducks last weekend.  Look at all the ducks!  i had so much fun!  they wanted to be fed as soon as they saw me coming with the bread.

They just love me ! and i was having so much fun!

I was having such a fun time!  mama said we will go again next week.

Daddy loves the ice cream at Farmers more than me – so last weekend – we did a lot of stuff together – from shopping to biking and of course ice cream at Farmers.

This is a small serve ice cream – white and chocolate swirls – daddy had a medium one and mama didn’t have any because i can’t finish mine – therefore mama had to scoop out some everytime we go there for ice cream.  But they were yummy ice cream – but very expensive – mama said kai mah loves ice cream too – maybe when kai mah comes to Canada and visit me – we can go for some ice cream.

Daddy brought my new bike home since i rarely used it at the store – last Sunday after daddy fixed the patio – we went for a bike ride.  It wasn’t too, too long – but I was tired – because I wasn’t used to riding on the road.  But it certainly was fun and daddy said we will do it again soon – hopefully every week.   Now if mama will get her bike and cycle with us – that would be so much fun.

Daddy has a new truck – if you don’t know by now – it’s not a new, new one but something he had bought to use to ferry stuff to and from the store  – big stuff.  But the truck needed car insurance – so daddy went shopping for discount auto insurance with me.  We have several insurance company in town – so daddy said – he wanted to get the best insurance rate for his truck.    We finally found one and mama said daddy should be happy with the rate – but daddy rarely smile – so i tried to make him smile.  He didn’t like that very much – but i don’t care.

Mama told daddy – if i had to go from one place to another to look for his auto insurance – the least he could do is smile for the camera.  So daddy had no choice but to try and smile.  See my daddy smiling? We don’t get to see daddy smile too often – he wants to be cool mama said.
