Monster Brat

I get bored easily – so when I’m at a restaurant waiting for my food – I play with my DS or do coloring or do some puzzles but daddy said that if he get some cheap netbooks in the near future – he will save one for me. Then I can watch Netflix on the netbook and maybe that would keep me happy while I am in the restaurant.  So that mummy and daddy can have a good meal without having to entertainment me all the time.   But mama said Netbooks are expensive – so I have to save up some money or wait for it to go on sale and then she can buy them and not feel like she spend too much money.

My home room teacher found a hat last week on Friday and I didn’t know for sure if it was my hat that was stolen 7 months ago from school.  So mama and daddy went to school this morning and this is my hat from Sparky Jones – woohoo!!!  Yes ! this is my hat – but it had been 7 months and of course I don’t remember no more – I’m just a kid!

At first mama thought it was really misplaced – but daddy said it’s impossible because the janitor would have found it right?  and how did my hat go from one end to another without anyone noticing?  strange as it is – I did get my hat back – but daddy still don’t believed that it was misplaced – but mama said nevermind lah! as long as it is found – I just have to be careful with my things at school and anywhere else.

I liked this wood bench very much – that we saw at the dollarstore on Starrs Road – but I told mama that I think that my grampie can make one for me since Grampie is like Winnie the Pooh and has a 100 acres of land and an island!  So he must have a lot of wood to chop -  daddy said that maybe grampie can make some to sell for this summer.  So grampie can you make me a wood bench? I would like it before summer.

My mama bought me a new angry bird toque from someone who handmade them – it cost like $20 but i just loved it.   Do you like my angry bird toque?  mama said I look nice in anything I wear – hehe!

So what do you do when you have to go to the store with daddy on a holiday?  you bring your polly pocket airplane that you had gotten from your godmother  and play with it.  My godma lynn bought this for me for my birthday and Christmas – mama said this polly pocket airplane was very expensive  but my godma said it was alright because it was my birthday and christmas present and aunt helena helped godma lynn buy it for me because godma lynn is in toronto.

Mummy brought me over to Corrie to get my hair cut and a hair wash before going back to school.  When mama was young – that’s how her mama did – so she is doing the same thing for me too – mama said everyone must go to school properly dressed and hair cut and finger nails and toe nails cut too.  By doing all that – it shows that I respect going to school and I’m there to study – she said hopefully when I grow up – I don’t go dye my hair in pink or purple – because that isn’t really a fashion statement – that’s called destroying your hair before you are old enough to do so.

I love haircuts with Corrie because she takes me immediately on the same day – she also cuts my hair well too.  Thank you, Corrie.

We don`t know what to get for Grampie every year – so we gave Grampie some money – a bottle of rum and some guitar strings that he asked for and guitar picks too.  But Aunt Helena always buys the best presents for Grampie – she knows exactly what grampie wants every year.  This year grampie`s gift from Aunt Helena were for hunting – from RockyMountainTrail.com northface fleece and we could see that Grampie loved the gift from Aunt Helena.  Mama said – next year she is going to ask Aunt Helena for ideas as to what to get for Grampie.   I guess it makes sense to get warm and fleecy clothing for Grampie since he is outdoor so much.  I like their beanies too – so maybe I can buy some beanie from Rocky Mountain Trail next year.

Christmas came and went – and I scored big time this Christmas – guess Santa must loved me lots.  I couldn’t sleep the night before because I was so excited for Santa to come.  I woke up several times and by 1.30am – mama was mad that I didn’t go to sleep.  She said Santa couldn’t come if I wasn’t sleeping.

Daddy said we are getting a special Christmas present for my cousin Peggy – and I got all excited about it – until he told me he was getting a alcohol detox for cousin Peggy.    I asked daddy why? and daddy said Cousin peggy loves to drink during the festive season, so this year – he would prefer to give her a useful gift to help her get rid of some really nasty toxins in her body.   Luckily, daddy and mummy don’t drink – else I just might have to get them a alcohol detox for a gift when I’m older.  Daddy said alcohol detox is great for people who needs help with their drinking habits  – and I guess there must be a lot of people who loved to drink during the holidays – so should everyone give their loved ones a alcohol detox too?  I wonder how many people get a gift for alcohol detox during Christmas.

I am sick and staying home with mom while daddy go to work on his own.  I stay home and sleep and draw and take my medication like a good girl.  I’m glad mama is home with me – so that we can spend time together.  When I am sick mama don’t do any work at all, she takes care of me and play with me or watch a movie with me.    I like staying at home when I am sick – that way I can be in my PJs for the entire day.  I have a little fever and running nose.
